Privacy Policy[5 min read]

staticworx.com and kb.staticworx.com are governed by the following privacy policy. This policy only applies to staticworx.com and kb.staticworx.com and not to any third party websites we may link to for information purposes.

Your Privacy and Staticworx

We pride ourselves on our friendliness, our helpfulness, and our customer support here at Staticworx. We’re good at all of those things because we’re human and – because we’re human – we care about privacy. We wouldn’t want our information to be sold, traded, or abused and for that reason, we’d never do that with yours either.

We never collect data we don’t need and we’ll never keep your data for longer than we have to. Your data is kept secure while we have it and we never sell or trade email lists under any circumstances.

What Information Do We Collect and How Do We Use It?

Cookies

We may receive and store certain types of usage-related information when you visit kb.staticworx.com or staticworx.com, including but not limited to, your computer’s IP address and browser information. The information we collect may be used to customize the content and/or layout of our pages for each individual visitor. It helps us provide the best experience for you.

Analytics and Usage Data

It’s useful for us to know where our visitors come from and what they are interested in. This information is processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. Again, this helps us provide the best experience for our visitors – whoever they may be.

Staticworx uses the third party service ShareThis to enable you to share our content on social media channels or by email. We also use information collected by ShareThis to help us to find out which content is most shared across individual social media channels. This is useful to us in developing new content. The information that ShareThis collects does not directly identify an individual. As ShareThis puts it: We know how a particular browser or device interacts with your website; we do not know the person behind the browser or device.

Advertising

At times, we may use Google AdWords or Facebook Pixel remarketing to advertise Staticworx across the internet. AdWord ads or Facebook ads may display to you based on your visit to or use of our site through the use of cookies. Any cookie will not in any way identify you or give access to your computer or mobile device. The cookie will automatically removed after 30 days if you do not return to the site.

If you do not wish to see ads via Google from Staticworx, you can opt-out by visiting Google’s page on ad personalization: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated. On this page Google will allow you to see all personal information that you have added to your account, data from advertisers partnered with Google, and Google’s own estimation of your interests. You can easily update your preferences or disable ad personalisation entirely.

If you wish to opt-out of Facebook’s interest based ads, you can find out more here.
